Whether a player is dreaming of a career in football, fighting for a place in the starting eleven, or chasing trophies at the highest level of the sport, they will always have the same fundamental goal…

Getting better.

Improving as a football player doesn’t guarantee you any of those things, but it boosts your chances significantly.

In the modern game, a large part of “getting better” includes developing psychological skills.

And even though sports psychology is still far away from becoming mainstream, every year, more people are starting to recognize just how powerful it can be for athletes and their performance.

But that’s not the main reason why I created this website…

Performing in professional football means performing in a highly competitive setting. And while that can bring out the best in you, it can also put you through a world of suffering.

Stress, anxiety, depression, and loss of identity are all common issues many footballers, aspiring or professional, are either dealing with or will have to deal with in their lives.

Looking at it like that, educating yourself about psychology is not just significant — it’s a necessity.

And while the main theme of this website is helping people improve as players, its true purpose is to help players protect themselves as people.
